Hard Fi - "Cash Machine"
September 7th, 2008

From the dead boring outer ring of London's suburbs comes Hard-Fi. They merge disco, punk and dub until they sound like the late seventies post-punk scene having a fist fight with itself. With their lyrical themes about money not equaling or even being necessary for success, it's no surprise that the D.I.Y. masterpiece "Cash Machine" was made for $500 and has put them on the map as one of the UK's most exciting young exports. You need Hard-Fi in your life. Theyre laddish, loud and Christ they sound good. - NME HARD Fi - "Stars Of CCTV" IN STORES NOW!! us.hard-fi.com (us site) Myspace.com/hardfi

September 7th, 2008

Johnny Cash - "Heart Of Gold" [from his album "Unearthed" - song performed with John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers)] I want to live, I want to give I've been a miner for a heart of gold. It's these expressions I never give That keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. It keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. I've been to Hollywood I've been to Redwood I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold I've been in my mind, it's such a fine line That keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. That keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. You keep me searching for a heart of gold I've been a miner for a heart of gold And I'm getting old.
