It's like clothing, two pairs of jeans may be pretty much the same thing; same material, similar cut and design, yet the one that says Guess? on it costs 5 times as much. Same thing with Starbucks. People wish to appear fashionable and modern, and will gladly spend extra money to do so. To keep people thinking that Starbucks is fashionable, the company uses exotic names for very ordinary things.
