Comments to “Generation Chickenhawk: With The College Republicans”

  1. FIRAS Says:
Cowards they may be, but these kids should NOT be sent to Iraq. The military involves lots of heavy lifting, and these kids look like they've never lifted a finger in their life. Plus, military medical personnel are already overworked. They don't have time for all the self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the feet.
  2. AEAEA Says:
coffeeusa, yeah, the Republicans do want to drill for oil, in the OFF LIMITS areas. For some reason they want to be rebels and not drill in the thousands of acres that are open to drilling.
  3. Bretta Says:
Not have the guts to get the job done? WHAT job? The reason for being in Iraq changes every other week. Though the only real job is filling the pockets of greedy war profiteers.
  4. Mansfield Says:
i disagree, we need a draft specifically for college republicans. everyone else can volunteer. i wonder what these guys would have said if he asked them about joining americorp or the peace corps, would they have given the same answer? nice video.
  5. Blaize Says:
Well i will say this...I was born and raised a democrate....But after seeing the Democrats not having the guts to get the job done...even thought hey have the majority...I will have to say i will vote independent or not at all...The democrats are better than the republican's.....but not by much and that tells you the state of our country...If only Jesse Ventura or Al Gore would save us. Gore could run still today and win..but he has his mind on BS rather than his country.
  6. Tansy Says:
lol I don't know about any of you but i sure as hell didn't need god, or praying, to figure out whether or not I'm gay. And if there is a god, and he doesn't want us having sex with the same gender he should have done a better job manufacturing some of these people who do want to have sex with other guys or gals. I love how republicans argue that homosexuality "is a choice." So what if it is? Is this not America? Land of the free?
  7. FEDERIKKE Says:
"I'm in college" is not a valid excuse for not serving. I don't you have to serve to be patriotic or anything, or even that you can't support the war unless you are fighting it, but people should be honest. All these people don't want to serve because they either don't want to put their careers on hold, or they are scared of being killed or wounded, or something else. Just be honest people.
  8. Ethelred Says:
If Republcans want to drill for oil and liberals and Democrats and Hollywood area against George Bush oil than how come liberals, and Hollywood and Obama use more than their share. We have to drill just to fuel the jets and trucks and semi's and forklifts to distribute Sheryl Crow's and Madonn's CD's worldiwde. Obama used so much oil to set up a huge baskeball arena, tear down, truck his stuff up to a football stadium and set up a Brittany Spears stage arean we now have less
  9. Jacky Says:
Wow. these guys consider college political debates war. they wont ever understand war. Tom Delay makes me sick with that abortion/illegal comment. And btw, he inferred we need illegals! What an idiot for a guy to say that who thinks hard working people are deconstructive to our society.
  10. Jeffrey Says:
ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. Wanna read an article about just how corrupt big oil companies are? Google this and read the article: Did Citco Oil really buy an electric Car battery only to destroy it?
  11. Roy Says:
Blumenthal + College Chickenhawks x Interpretive Dance = Comedy Gold.
  12. Janetta Says:
I'm a Zen guy AND a Veteran. So, I call a thing A Thing. so I call these people Yellow-Bellied Cowards and Traitorous Dogs.
  13. BEDNAR Says:
republicans oppose abortion because of loss of taxpayers and soldiers(fresh meat for the grinder),and for slave labor. We don't need a draft..they just trash the economy so enlisting in the army is a better option!! It ain't rocket science!!!
  14. Alyda Says:
    Scripted!
  15. Scanlan Says:
Thats awesome, with DeLay saying that without all the abortions we'd have plenty of poor desperate drones to pick our lettuce and won't need the illegals anymore. There's a compassionate guy. Now back to being an internet warrior, couldn't join the army because I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, sorry.
  16. Muire Says:
Would these YOUNG REPUBLICANS APPROVE OF THE FOLLOWING FOR WAR? *Get Congressional approval; *Implement the draft *Use MAXIMUM FORCE-not 150,000 troops *People pushing for the draft have to participate-combat-NO DEFERMENTS *Equal distribution of upper/middle/lower income, in the draft-no special treatment. *Raise taxes to pay for the war-everyone has to feel the pain! THESE YOUNG REPUBLICANS WOULD BE THE 1ST TO VOLUNTEER-CORRECT! BODY BAGS,SUFFERING,PERMANENT DISABILITY
  17. Kaga Says:
You've got to be kidding me. no one should vote republican. what a bunch of pussies.
  18. AMARE Says:
i want to punch every single one of those rich kids in the face! it makes me sick when they say "i thought about serving"..... cuz you know they never gave it one thought at all.
  19. ANDRASTE Says:
How in the world did we as a nation get into the SHIT we're in. War mongers like Cheyney, Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilly have no shame for supporting our troops in harms way for NOTHING! The Republicans are the worst kind of cowards. Sending somebody else's child to do their dirty work. Trust me, they'll ALL have to answer for this one day!!!
  20. Chianna Says:
send these assholes to Iraq, we'll see how long they will stick to supporting this war
  21. KAMAL Says:
yea but there is one big difference between them and the reporter, he is against the war in Iraq.Thats the hypocrisy that these "college republicans" represent, they want the war to continue, they were for it since it began. He didn't join because he doesn't believe in this war, while they do but choose not to serve.....
  22. ALITASH Says:
But these College Republicans are studying to be behind the scenes Capitalists. It's true, almost everyone of them had some illness to excuse them from doing their "patriotic" duty. As soon as a real threat arrives on our shores, I'll be happy to defend my country. Oh sorry, but wait...we already ARE under threat by the Bilderberg Membership and the Illuminati, World Elite. Damn, those people are too well guarded with all the money they've stolen from the American Taxpayer. Crap, oh well...
  23. Wanetta Says:
I want one of those Bumper Stickers! Cheney didn't serve his country, but he DID serve himself some ultra-fat no-bid contracts now didn't he? By the way, when I was literally starving and out of work and about to lose my apartment years ago in Northern Nevada, in desperation, I walked into a Army Recruiting office where I told the recruiter that I was there only because I couldn't find a job. I also told him that I really can't stand anyone giving me orders, so he bid me farewell. Whew!
  24. Orren Says:
Wow, I had a completely different take than the rest of you libs. I thought the interviewer came off looking like a complete idiot and total pussy, accusing them of "violence" as he is being gently led out of the room by the elbow. Why didn't the liberal reporter answer the question himself, as to why he didn't serve his country? It's amazing to me that there are so many who are willing to "fight" for those who volunteer to serve, but criticize those who don't!
  25. Mickey Says:
I didn't see one person that wasn't white. I'm white but America is a melting pot and these chickenhawks think they are speaking for America. You'd think they would've done what they did at the convention and INSERTED some blacks in the crowd.
