  5. ARES Says:
We had people at my last school who had singing scolarships. Not as good as this.

Magnifique interprétation de Fauré. Comme toujours les solistes venant des Cathédrales ou College d'Angleterre toujours bien formés et de toute beauté comme résultat.

Whilst the tone of your comment suggests that you are both arrogant and ignorant, I confess that I do agree with you.
  11. Vivica Says:
Bonjour, je suis heureuse et ravie de pouvoir écouter ce vidéo. Merci infiniment. Have sung it in England but I think I never heard it with such a wonderful boy soprano (and he was so cute....! Wonder who that is and what he is up to now...) Kiki

  16. Aethelred Says:
hehe this is what puts me off listening to music on youtube. Idiots who think they know it all commenting on everything. Just because u play organ in ur local church or have been to see an opera does not mean you have the right to comment on every performance you hear. A voice is as personal and different as a face. Why don't you just say "beautiful" and leave it at that. By the way-beautiful!
  17. Johan Says:
    no...
  18. FIRAS Says:
Sweetie-babies, Vibrato has its place-in the opera house! Never ever ever in church-especially a church where I preside over the choir and organ! It's been humorous-on the past occasions when I've hit the local university for voice majors to come sing in my SATB group for big feast days: I ALWAYS tell these students "NO VIBRATO!" They look at me like, "Right-but I am the vocalist. I know how to sing!" I just hold up the choir check book, wave it at them, and say, "Any questions?
  19. Carina Says:
while i tend to agree that most choir music should be straight toned, you can't really complain about opera choruses and certain romantic choruses... it's what was expected in writing. this, however i think does best straight toned.
  20. SIHAM Says:
    Perfection.
  21. NANI Says:
I personally think that the clear, angelic voice of a treble is perfect for this. This isn't opera- it's church music. But maybe I've just been scarred by hearing a woman with monster vibrato/warble singing/bawling this before :D I love singing this too, but I can't do it half as well as this boy, alas. Do you have a video of you singing it?
  22. KIRKWOOD Says:
    c'est impressionnant , une voix d'ange !
  23. SHATTUCK Says:
My favorite choirs, period. Thank you for sharing this!
  24. DANA Says:
    This kid is beautiful. Perfect.
  25. MASKINI Says:
No No Sweetie Baby.... Vibrato (I don't think) NEVER sounds OK in an ensemble---and ALWAYS compromises PITCH DELIVERY and PITCH CONTINUATION. Check out opera choruses: usually made up of frustrated people who tried out for a role in----say-----WAGNER--- (YUCK--O--LA!!!!) and didn't get the part, so they were put in the chorus---where they can WOBBLE AWAY--all they WANT to. Poor dears don't know any better--and actually think that they sound good. Martin
